As current or future members of this unique neighborhood, it is important that we meet one another and focus our combined energy and effort to make downtown Nashville the “best city within a city to live, work, and play”, but especially to live!

We meet on the third Monday of every month at 6PM. The meeting location changes from month to month but is always posted on our website and a flyer is emailed.

In the past few months membership and meeting attendance have both grown. It is obvious that the new wave of downtown dwellers is dedicated to protecting their investment by getting involved in the new face and shape of Nashville’s heart and soul.

Our Downtown Access program offers residents special services and discounts from participating downtown merchants who appreciate the repeat business they realize from our members.

We are becoming well known by Metro Government, the Nashville Downtown Partnership, Metro Police, and the District Merchants, who all recognize the value of our involvement in downtown development efforts.

Please join with us as we make our neighborhood a safe, beautiful, fun, and profitable place to live.

Committees

Get involved! Join a committee and become a vital part of all that we do! For more information about joining a committee, contact julie@nashvilleura.org.

Access Committee - This committee is in charge of contact new and existing businesses to sign them up for our Downtown Access Program. The program provides discount and perks for URA members at all participating mercants.
Event Committee - As the name implies, this committee plans and organizes events for the URA, such as mixers, outings, etc.
HOA Representative Committee - Our goal in this committee is to form a group of representatives from each residential building downtown so we can be kept aware of all of the happenings from each. This committee also helps get the word out to their buildings about our association.
Safety/Green - This committee is constantly working to improve our quality of life by working with the Downtown Partnership, Metro Police and others and ensure safety on our streets and enhance our environment.
Volunteer Committee - The newly established Volunteer Committee discovers and plans community service opportunities for our members. Two recent successful opportunities were the cleanup under the Jefferson Street bridge and the downtown library Puppet Festival.
